TGS has extended its agreement with Aker BP to deploy the Prediktor Data Gateway across a broader scope of the operator's organisation. This expansion builds on the data infrastructure approach established for the Yggdrasil area in 2024.
The Prediktor Data Gateway will continue to function as a process data server and operational data infrastructure layer, providing secure and reliable access to real-time data from operational technology systems. By collecting high-resolution data from sensors and automation systems across various industrial protocols, the solution standardises how process data is structured and shared with enterprise systems and analytics tools.
Utilising standard information models and OPC UA, the gateway reduces integration complexity and supports incremental modernisation without requiring the wholesale replacement of established systems. This extended collaboration reinforces Aker BP's broader digitalisation strategy, facilitating remote operations, unmanned platforms, and data-driven workflows for safer and more efficient production.
