EAGE has announced that the 7th EAGE Digital Conference & Exhibition will take place in Milan, Italy, from 15–18 March 2027, bringing together geoscientists, engineers, data scientists and technology leaders to explore the latest advances in digital transformation across the energy industry.
Since its launch, EAGE Digital has established itself as a leading forum for discussing how artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, cloud technologies, digital twins and advanced analytics are transforming subsurface workflows. Topics range from seismic imaging and reservoir characterisation to carbon storage, geothermal energy and autonomous digital operations.
The choice of Milan comes at a particularly fitting moment for the digital geoscience community. Earlier this month, Eni's HPC6 supercomputer was again recognised among the world's most powerful computing systems in the latest TOP500 rankings. HPC6 currently ranks among the global leaders in high-performance computing and supports applications including seismic processing, subsurface modelling, carbon storage simulation and AI-driven workflows.
As the industry increasingly relies on advanced computing and data-driven decision-making, Milan provides an ideal setting for discussions on the next generation of digital subsurface technologies and their role in delivering more efficient, sustainable and intelligent energy solutions.
Researchers, operators, technology providers and digital innovators are invited to join the conversation and help shape the future of digital geoscience and engineering.
