TGS has been awarded two new seismic acquisition contracts offshore Norway, underlining continued demand for reservoir monitoring and production optimisation data in the Norwegian North Sea.
The company announced that it has secured a 4D streamer contract in the Norwegian North Sea. A Ramform Titan-class vessel is expected to mobilize in late July 2026, with the project scheduled to last approximately 45 days. According to TGS, the survey will use its Ramform acquisition platform and proprietary GeoStreamer technology to deliver high-quality 4D data for reservoir monitoring and production optimisation.
In a separate award, TGS has also secured an ocean-bottom node (OBN) contract in the same region. Mobilization for this project is due to begin in June 2026, with an estimated duration of around 25 days. The OBN work will be carried out in parallel with an already ongoing node-on-a-rope acquisition campaign, using a ROV-based solution.
