STRYDE is expanding its presence in Indonesia through an agreement to supply 12,000 Range+ seismic nodes and a Nimble Seismic Acquisition System to PT SUCOFINDO.
The Indonesian inspection and survey services company will deploy the equipment on an upcoming seismic survey supporting the country’s oil and gas sector.
According to STRYDE, the lightweight nodes are suited to Indonesia’s dense jungle, heavy vegetation and restricted-access environments. Their small size is expected to reduce crew requirements and field logistics while enabling the acquisition of high-density seismic data.
The accompanying Nimble system will be used to manage the large node inventory. It supports rapid data harvesting, charging and preparation for redeployment, helping crews move equipment efficiently through the acquisition cycle while reducing handling and operational bottlenecks.
A STRYDE field-support geophysicist will assist with system start-up and provide training to SUCOFINDO personnel. Remote technical support will remain available throughout the survey.
The contract builds on STRYDE’s previous deployments in Indonesia and strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia. The company says its technology has now been used on more than 450 seismic surveys across 65 countries, with over 1.3 million nodes delivered between 2020 and 2026.
