A partnership of Vaalco and Levene have won four blocks in the Rio Muni basin. Lukoil has won a block in the Niger Delta basin; Noble Energy has won a block in the Douala basin, Africa Oil Corporation has won a block in the Rio Muni basin and Walter Smith-Hawtai has won one block in the Niger Delta.
All the winners will work in partnership with Equatorial Guinea’s national oil company GE Petrol.
GE Petrol has won one block outright in the Rio Muni basin.
