Axxis Geo Solutions has completed an ocean-bottom nodes (OBN) project in the Middle East. The survey was completed with strict adherence to Covid-19 safety guidelines and the crew is now demobilizing to the North Sea for previously announced work in late Q2.
Since the start of the year the Norwegian company’s crew has safely operated for more than 350,000 man hours.
Meanwhile, the company has reported that the final agreement for a seismic node acquisition has been signed with Equinor in the North Sea.
The 30-day survey is expected to commence later in the second quarter of 2020. Two seismic vessels will be deployed.
