EAGE was proud to continue its long-standing support for AOW: Energy, held in Accra, Ghana, from 1–3 September 2026.
Having championed African Oil Week for well over a decade, EAGE remains committed to bringing international geoscience and engineering knowledge to Africa’s evolving energy landscape.
The Accra event provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners and EAGE members while establishing relationships with new collaborators working to advance the region’s energy sector.
Discussions across the event reflected the opportunities and challenges facing Africa as countries seek to attract investment, strengthen energy security, develop local expertise and prepare for the energy transition.
EAGE will continue to foster regional collaboration, support local talent and facilitate the exchange of global technical expertise as the continent develops its conventional and emerging energy resources.
